Chiranjeevi starts corruption in movies?

Megastar Chiranjeevi may or may not be corrupt in politics but he started corruption in movies as per a leading daily. It reported that the star, whosesingle point agenda in politics is Social justice, is not applying his formula to movies. It was reported that he exerted political pressure on Dhanalakshmi, a censor board member.
When things are getting nasty, producers of Rachcha agreed to delete objectionable dialogues and gory action scenes in the film to avoid a confrontation between Chiranjeevi and Dhanalaxmi. “We had no issues with the censorboard and we are very happy with the U/A certificate and are going ahead with our release on April 5,” says leading producer N.V. Prasad while downplaying the tension between Chiranjeevi and the censor board officer in the last four days.
Dhanalaxmi was dilly-dallying on watching the film before asking for 13 – 14 cuts including double-meaning dialogues and gory scenes in the climax. “Nothing of that sort, we just followed the rule book. Since they insisted on a U/A certificate, we had to impose certain cuts on obscene and double-meaning dialogues and gory scenes so that children could watch it. For an A certificate, we wouldn’t have raised so many objections. To add U certificate, we need to ensure decent language” says Dhanalaxmi. Credit should be given this dynamic officer and this should set good example for the movies to follow. Dammu is next in line, let us see what’s in store for it as it boasts of violence.
