We might have seen Venu perform in skits of audio functions, the recent being Eega, but Teja’s Neeku Naku Dash Dash gives us a glimpse of his talent, he had the audience in splits in the last few minutes of the film. The comedian has seen hardships in life so when he is flooded with offers he never gets excited and gloats over his fortune. Ask him how’s life been he says, “Good, parugetthatledhu, aagatledhu.” Daruvu, Siddarth starrer, Raja’s film and a couple more are still in the making. The comedian recollects a funny incident that took place near Ramoji Film City. “The film is Mudra that has Srihari as the hero and I play one amongst the dance troupe, a recording dance company run by Aarti Agarwal. I am a eunuch and was completely dressed like a woman with jasmines, lipstick et al and danced with gay abandon when onlookers who gathered to see the shooting went berserk.
Some thought I looked beautiful and was a real woman and pinched me on my hip. The film is directed by Amma Rajashekar. They whistled and mobbed me throughout the night.”
