After bagging a plum role in Manirathnam’s Kadal, another leading Tamil superstar, Kamal Haasan, is said to be enquiring about her, perhaps to cast her in his next film. “Kamal Vishwaroopam is almost done and now the actor’s production house, ‘Raj Kamal Films International’, has been enquiring about Samantha and the dates she could spare in 2012. They have also been thinking of narrating a storyline to her,” says a source in Chennai. Working with Kamal might give a fillip to her career as she has acted with small-time actors in Tamil so far.
