Although rumours about hotshot Rana Dagubatti reprising the role of Chiranjeevi in the remake of 1980s blockbuster Khaidi are gaining ground, the actor would be doing no such thing. Writers Paruchuri Brothers had tweaked Khaidi’s script to suit Rana and the film was to be produced by Rana’s dad Suresh Babu. However, Suresh Babu said, “We have no such plans.” He said he is working on a script for an action based love story with Paruchuri Brothers, and not rehashing the 80s hit. Chiranjeevi had attained stardom with Khaidi and had gradually moved to the top slot.
