The road show by Congress MP Chiranjeevi has evoked solid response in Anatapur district. Amidst thousands of people, Chiranjeevi’s road show went on smoothly. Chiranjeevi is taking on this road show as a part of his by-election campaign.
Chiranjeevi has alleged that by-elections resulted only because of the selfishness of Kadapa MP and YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy. He took on Jagan at the road show in Anantapur today. Chiranjeevi has also said that Jagan was trying to play wrong politics with the help of the money he allegedly procured from illegal sources.
Chiru has also called upon the people of Anantapur district to teach fitting lessons to Jaganmohan Reddy. It may be recalled that Chiranjeevi earlier toured Anantapur district as a PRP man during 2009 elections and this happens to be first time for Chiru to tour Anantapur district as Congress leader.Chiranjeevi who arrived this morning in Anantapur will stay tonight at the town and will leave for Rayadurgam on Tuesday in the early hours. At Rayadurgam, Chiranjeevi is scheduled to address a public meeting.
Meanwhile, scores of people surrounded Chiranjeevi and reportedly clapped for every dialogue he said. Chiranjeevi has a huge fan following in Anantapur district and he is looked upon as demigod. This charm of Chiranjeevi is most likely to make Congress draw a couple of seats in the by-polls to 18 assembly constituencies.
