Tollywood taking inspiration from Bollywood has been there since the time of our grandfathers. Be it style, the glamour quotient, the fashion or the business formula, a lot has transferred from Bollywood to Tollywood. Now, it appears that even remuneration formula is also coming here.This we say after hearing the news that Tamannah is looking to follow the path of the Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor. Apparently, Kareena has reportedly gone in for a nominal remuneration but a profit share in films that she would be doing from now onwards. This would mean she might be earning anywhere between Rs 7 cr – Rs 10 cr unlike the regular remuneration of Rs 3 or Rs 4 cr.
Now, sources say even Tammu is also planning to do that because of her demand. Though the idea looks smart, the market pundits say it is difficult to use the Kareena formula here. Incidentally, there is a huge difference between the budgets and profits incurred by a Bollywood flick to a regional flick. But they add that Tammu’s rate can be increased by 40%.
