The daughter of erstwhile glam queen Radha, Karthika made debut opposite Naga Chaitanya in Josh but the movie sank without trace. Not perturbed by early disappointment, she did Ko in Tamil, which later was released in Telugu as Rangam that brought her first success. Now she wants ‘stardom’.As her second film in Telugu, Dhammu, is slated to hit screens tomorrow, She is very excited and hopes that the movie would bring the much needed fan following.
Although Trisha plays the main lead, Karthika says she accepted the movie because of the director Boyapati Seenu. Once she had rejected this role, as second lead was not her choice.Seenu was unrelenting and got her signed for this film.
