Story :
Haritha (Sweta) is an orphan. All that she wants to do is to take care of orphans. Such is the affection she has for those who cannot take care of themselves that Sweta even feeds pigeons regularly. But her care and compassion ends up landing her in a big mess. When a ganster is being beaten up by goondas, she bandages his hand. And soon enough, the smitten goon wants to marry her, much against her liking. Another gangster Hari ( Uday Kiran) gets to meet Haritha too and it’s love at first sight for him. Back home in his village, his family actually wants him to marry a girl of their choice. Even the girl acts like she is also interested but has no such feelings for him. She helps Hari escape from home so that they will not be forcibly married. So far so good. The problem is when Hari starts believing that his dreams come true. He dreams that his grandfather meets with an accident, and he does. He dreams that he will land a job against his wishes, and he does. The next dream in which Haritha meets with an accident and dies plagues him. Hari puts in all his efforts to prevent the accident, which he believes will come happen. Circumstances take Hari back to his village, but he has to do some quick thinking to introduce Haritha to his family in such a way that she will be allowed to stay there with them. But this creates problems for Haritha.
Performance :
It’s been quite a while since we saw Uday on the screen. He’s improved a lot when it comes to his expressions, dance moves and charm.so is Shwetha Basu. The movie has a bit of comedy with Brahmanandam playing a speech-impaired advocate who always wins cases. AVS takes the cake for playing a boss in a finance company which loses Rs 65 crore as the loans that he gives are never returned.
Technical :
Director Shubha Selvam has tried hard to create suspense in the film, but his efforts only gets onto your nerves and only ends up creating more confusion.Dialogues by Janardhan Maharshi are very ordinary. Cinematography is very bad and doesn’t captivate you at all. Editing is weak. Music of the film is very ordinary as none of the tunes are hummable, and other technical departments in the movie are so bad that, there is no need of even mentioning them.
Analysis :
It’s okay to dream. But what if nightmares were to come true? On two occasions, Hari’s dreams come true, but what’s eating him up is a nightmare he’s suffered. Will that accident that he fears so much blow up his dreams? is the theme of the film. But Irrelevant comedy tracks keep coming and going, as if you are watching a B Grade movie. Even the villain Bhadra, was not convincing enough as the bad guy. Rest of the cast didn’t have much to do and disappointed highly. There is absolutely no chemistry between the lead pair.
Verdict:
Routine Suspense, suspense. Not a come back movie for Uday Kiran.
