Bad news for all Prabhas fans. The actor’s upcoming flick Rebel has been in the making for over a year now, but doesn’t look like the film will see the light of the day anytime soon. It was recently reported that the film will be releasing in July but looks like that’s not going happen either. Sources close to the film’s unit say that the movie’s release could be delayed further to August.
The reason of the delay however is not known. The movie has gone over budget already and the producers are a worried lot. Thaman was supposed to compose the music for the movie but he backed out and Raghava Lawrence, who is directing the movie took the onus on himself. Deeksh Seth and Tamannah are playing the female leads in the movie. J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao are producing the movie touted to be an action entertainer.
