The regional censor board in Andhra Pradesh has been the focus of many cine folks and sometimes outsiders for their decisions. And this time, it is heard that few Hindu organizations and members of the community are blasting it. The reason for that is the latest release ‘Daruvu’ and one scene in it.
Well, the scene shows Narada’s butt being pierced by two arrows and a nasty dialogue in that context. The Hindu body members said “Narada is one of the Adi Devatas for music and that is the reason why he has a Veena in his hand. He may not be worshipped but he is a respectable god in the scriptures.”
They added “Mockery keeps happening on Narada for small comedy scenes that are okay but it has not been done so indecently. This is extreme. And the scene of Yamudu getting scared… how can the God of Death be afraid? The entire concept is not only blasphemous but also illogical. Was the censor board sleeping while watching these scenes?”
