His forthcoming release 'Racha' title itself speaks what sort of a film it is. Charan's immediate films after Rachcha too will be targeted at the masses as the actor found such movies to be safe bet.
Mass films play a crucial role in building the fan base of a superstar. Chiranjeevi reached the top and ruled the Telugu film industry for more than two decades only because of such movies. Rajanikanth, Amitabh Bachchan and all the so called superstars reached to what they are only because of mass masala movies.
Times have changed but mass masala still sells in cinema. If served in right doses sky is the limit for such films. Therefore Charan is completely depending upon formula mass masala movies to build a strong foundation. His next films under Vinayak and Paidipalli Vamsi (Vaade is the tentative title) are going to be pure hero-centric films with full dose of mass masala.
