Nithya Menon is fast earning a reputation of arrogant heroine of Tollywood. It looks she never winces of controversies. Her first infamousincident was claiming “Who is Prabhas?” in front of media. That incident spurred a huge controversy. Recently the actress had refused to act with Venkatesh as he was too old for her.Now it’s Raviteja’s turn to face a denial from this short bubbly actress. According to reports Raviteja wanted to rope her in for his next movie under the direction of Parusaram. She quoted the same reason that he is too old for her. Whatever may be her thought process, but it’s sure not going well with big heroes of Tollywood. “It’s shocking to see a young heroine rejecting an offer to act with a big hero like Raviteja, if this continues she may not get any offers in future” said a close source to director.
It’s not new in Tollywood for heroines to have apprehensions about acting about aged heroes. King Nagarjuna faced this in the past, but to his credit he understood about her concerns and happily moved on. Let us see what will be Raviteja’s reaction to this. However, this could well turn out to be Trisha’s gain. Sources close to the producer say that her refusal paves the way for actress Trisha who is also in contention for the role. The actress, we hear, will officially sign the dotted line soon.
